Terms of Service and Participation Waiver
RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISKS, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, YOU WAIVE CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
Terms of Service
Participation Requirements:
All participants must agree to and comply with the OG Rec League Code of Conduct.
Participants must sign this Terms of Service and Participation Waiver before engaging in any league activities.
Participants under 18 years old must have a parent or legal guardian sign on their behalf.
Acknowledgment of Risks:
By participating in OG Rec League activities, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with sports and physical activities, which may include but are not limited to:
Collisions with other participants or equipment.
Falls, sprains, or other physical injuries.
Unforeseen accidents due to the nature of sports and competitive play.
Participation Waiver Release of Liability:
OG Rec League, its organizers, volunteers, referees, sponsors, and affiliates are released from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during participation in league activities.
You assume full responsibility for your safety and well-being while attending or participating in league events.
Waiver of Claims:
You waive any claims against OG Rec League for personal injury, property damage, or loss arising from participation in league events, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
This waiver extends to all claims, actions, or demands resulting from participation in the league.
Indemnity Agreement:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OG Rec League, its organizers, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or costs (including legal fees) arising out of your actions or participation in league activities.
Additional Terms
Image and Media Release:
By participating, you grant permission for OG Rec League to capture and use photographs or videos of you during league events.
Images and videos may be used for promotional purposes, including social media, website content, and advertising.
If you do not consent to media use, you must notify the league in writing before participating.
Suspension and Expulsion Policy:
OG Rec League reserves the right to suspend, expel, or ban any participant or spectator for:
- Violating the Code of Conduct.
- Engaging in abusive, violent, or disruptive behavior.
- Committing illegal activities during league events.
Suspensions or expulsions may occur without prior notice and are not eligible for refunds.
Event Cancellations:
OG Rec League reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather, facility issues, or emergencies.
By signing this document, you affirm that:
You have read and fully understand this Terms of Service and Participation Waiver.
You voluntarily agree to these terms, including the release of liability and waiver of claims.
You commit to upholding the values of OG Rec League and fostering a positive environment for all participants.
